Driveways

There are three main options for Concrete Driveways, Plain Concrete, Coloured Concrete and Exposed Aggregate Concrete.

Site prep is a critical component to a long lasting Driveway, Paveco excavate and install graded base material which is compacted ready to have concrete poured on top. Steel Mesh or Fibre Mesh is a good option for preventing structural cracking. We use high strength concrete from a local certified plant.

The Driveway is “placed and finished” by a team of up to 10 experienced concrete placers. To help alleviate cracking off internal corners in the concrete we install critical expansion joints on the day of pour, the balance of the expansion cuts are installed within two days of the concrete being poured.

Sealing the Exposed Aggregate Concrete is recommended, however sealing a Plain or Coloured Concrete Driveway is optional, the benefits and dis-advantages of sealing will be discussed with the client.

Patios & Pool Surrounds

Floor/House Slabs

Paveco have placed and finished hundreds of Floor Slabs for builders and home owners over the past 10 years.

We have a team of 10 experienced concrete placers who take pride in laying a “flat floor” which is critical especially if you are considering having Polished Concrete as a flooring option.

To help us achieve the perfect floor we have 6 “walk behind” power floats and two “ride-on” power floats. Expansion cuts are installed on the day of pour with our “early entry” saw which helps alleviate cracking.

Service Yards
